Episode Recap: Drama Unfolds at the Deshmukh Household – Emotions, Egos & Eavesdropping
The latest episode opens with tension brewing at the Deshmukh house. Renuka wastes no time insulting Sayali’s mother, Shobha, when she arrives with a warm invitation to celebrate her daughter and son-in-law’s wedding anniversary. Despite the harsh remarks, Shobha keeps her composure. Meanwhile, Paresh can’t help but feel grateful and proud of having Sayali as a daughter-in-law.
As the family gathers at the dining table, young Riya excitedly asks if Shobha has brought her favorite sweets again. With a smile, Shobha hands them out, spreading warmth. Just then, Sachin walks in, pleasantly surprised to see his mother-in-law. They greet each other with affection, and Shobha offers him some thoughtful gifts. However, Renuka takes the opportunity to belittle them with a snide comment about their quality.
During a lighthearted moment, Shobha casually inquires about Roshni’s father—who is currently in jail. This innocent question triggers Renuka, who lashes out and warns Shobha to mind her own business. Once Shobha departs, Renuka cautions Sayali not to disclose any family matters to Sachin, fearing he may not handle the truth well.
Meanwhile, Sachin reveals his hesitation to visit Shobha’s home because of Dileep, who he believes has gone down the wrong path. Sayali, emotionally caught in the middle, tries to mend the broken bond, gently persuading Sachin to accompany her. Little do they know, Renuka is secretly listening in from behind the door.
Elsewhere in the house, Riya brings comic relief as she dances around in Akash’s clothes. Akash walks in, amused and slightly annoyed, asking her to change. But Riya is having too much fun teasing him.
Later that day, Sachin surprises Sayali with heartfelt anniversary wishes. Sayali begins the day with prayers, setting a peaceful tone. Soon after, Aaji arrives to visit her grandchildren. Sachin lights up upon seeing his beloved grandmother. Renuka puts on a mask of happiness, but Aaji sees right through her. With sharp wit, Aaji throws a few subtle barbs, calling out Renuka’s lack of hospitality.
During her visit, Aaji checks in on Tejas, who proudly shares that he and Roshni are about to start a new business venture. Although Aaji is here to celebrate, she knows her presence isn’t exactly welcomed by Renuka.
