The Jamai No.1 23 April 2025 written update opens with a dramatic twist—Neel is stunned to learn that Manjari is pregnant, and the father is none other than Pratham. Furious, Neel lashes out at Manjari, declaring that she is dead to him from this day forward.
As Pratham walks into the house, Neel loses control and beats him mercilessly, enraged by his betrayal. Manjari and Riddhi try to intervene, with Manjari begging Neel to stop, confessing her love for Pratham. Eventually, Neel pulls back but remains unforgiving.
Kanchan Blames Neel, Files Police Complaint
Kanchan arrives and witnesses the aftermath, accusing Neel of trying to kill Pratham. Despite Riddhi and Pratham’s attempts to calm her, Kanchan storms off and calls Sumati, furiously accusing Neel of being a criminal. Sumati tries to defend her son, explaining that Neel never acts without reason.
But Kanchan doesn't stop there—she goes so far as to demand that Riddhi abort Neel's child, shocking everyone. Sumati begs her not to say such things, but Kanchan leaves in anger, vowing revenge.
Police Come to Arrest Neel
Later, a heartbroken Riddhi approaches Neel and apologizes for hiding the truth. Neel thanks her for standing by Manjari but confesses that he misunderstood her. He thought she was pregnant with Shaurya’s child, but Riddhi assures him that Shaurya is just a friend.
Suddenly, a servant informs them that the police have arrived to arrest Neel. The officers state that he's being booked for attempted murder on Pratham. Riddhi argues it's a family matter and the accusations are false, but Kanchan demands Neel's arrest.
Just then, Pratham intervenes and tells the police that he fell down the stairs and that Neel didn’t hurt him. The inspector withdraws, and the police leave.

Neel Refuses to Forgive Pratham and Manjari
Despite the tension cooling, Kanchan furiously confronts Pratham for going against her and lying to protect Neel. Meanwhile, Manjari and Pratham plead with Neel to forgive them, and Pratham promises to marry Manjari and make things right. But Neel remains cold and warns that he will never allow this marriage to happen.
