The Kumkum Bhagya 22 April 2025 written update opens with Poorvi rushing Ronak, the police, and an unconscious Prathna to the hospital. Initially, the nurse refuses to admit them, but the doctor intervenes and allows the admission. The nurse then asks Poorvi to fill out the patient form.
Meanwhile, Krishna informs Seema about Prathna and Ronak's condition and pleads with her to visit the hospital. Seema coldly replies,
“She’s not my daughter. I will not go there. She’s destroyed everything.”
Krishna, emotionally distressed, says,
“It was my mistake to raise my hand, but if you can’t accept Prathna as your daughter, then our relationship is over.”
Still, Seema refuses to budge.
Ronak Regains Consciousness, Seeks Prathna
At the hospital, Ronak regains consciousness and insists on meeting Prathna. Initially, the doctor denies his request, suggesting rest, but Ronak’s persistence pays off, and he is finally allowed to see her.
Poorvi, in the meantime, prays to Mata Rani to bring Prathna back to health. When she meets Ronak, she reassures him,
“Don’t worry. Prathna will be fine.”
Ronak, moved, asks, “Are you okay?” and thanks her for everything.
Poorvi, overwhelmed with emotion, says,
“Prathna made me who I am. Without her, I was nothing.”

Elsewhere, Payal’s father lands a new project and is elated. He asks Savita to look after things. Payal becomes fixated on Ronak and demands,
“I want Ronak. Bring him to me!”
Savita is disturbed by her daughter's obsession and becomes anxious about going to the hospital. She reflects on how Ronak is always on her mind and how Prathna feels like her own daughter now—though she never realized when that happened.
Just then, a nurse announces an urgent need for AB+ blood. Poorvi immediately responds,
“That’s my blood group,”
and agrees to donate. Meanwhile, Harsh’s mother confesses her past fears:
“I was always scared Harsh and Payal would get married…”
Ronak Discovers Poorvi’s Secret
At the hospital, Ronak is asked to submit the admission form. As he takes it from the counter, he sees Poorvi’s name listed. He remembers what Prathna had once said about her real mother being Poorvi Malhotra—the puzzle pieces finally fall into place.
Payal’s Deadly Intentions
On the other side of town, Payal meets Bavesh and hires him to kill Prathna and Ronak, offering ₹2 crores for the job. She declares:
“If Ronak can’t be mine, he can’t be anyone else's.”
Both targets are currently in City Hospital, and her plan is in motion.
Krishna Alone, Seema Still Unmoved
Krishna visits the hospital alone, heartbroken. Gayatri tries to convince Seema to come too, but Seema ends the call, unwilling to forgive or accept the truth. Yet, Prathna deeply loves Seema, even if it’s one-sided.
