Udne ki Aasha Episodes 7 April
Tejas couldn’t hide his excitement. His dream was finally taking shape—his own business, a fresh start. Dressed in a brand-new suit, he posed for pictures with a smile that refused to fade. Of course, his brother Sachin couldn’t resist poking fun at his over-the-top enthusiasm. But the real drama was yet to unfold.
As the family gathered to brainstorm names for the shop, Sayali suggested honoring their late grandmother—a woman who symbolized strength and tradition. Renuka, their mother, interrupted with a soft yet firm suggestion: why not name it after her? Tejas wasn’t convinced. He wanted something modern, something catchy. Something that would sell. No one backed Renuka’s idea, but Sachin noticed her silence—and the sadness behind it.
Later that evening, after a hearty dinner left Tejas feeling bloated and restless, he and his wife Roshni revisited the name debate. Once again, Roshni suggested Renuka’s name, and once again, Tejas rejected it—this time more bluntly. Shops using that name had failed before, he said. It was bad luck. What they didn’t know was that Sachin had overheard the entire exchange… and recorded it.
The next day, Sachin confronted them. He played the audio and demanded they name the shop after their mother. When they dismissed him, he turned up the volume—using guilt as a weapon. Tejas and Roshni were stunned. Their anger flared, but Sachin’s pain ran deeper.
For Sachin, this wasn’t just about a name. It was about the years Renuka spent doting on Tejas, always putting him first. She had never offered Sachin the same warmth. Yet, despite everything, her name still held meaning for him. It was more than a title—it was a connection he had longed for but never received. And now, to hear his brother call her “unlucky” felt like a punch to the gut.
Sayali overheard the conversation and saw a side of Sachin she hadn’t noticed before—raw, emotional, deeply wounded. For the first time, she questioned the complicated history between him and their mother.
Meanwhile, Renuka had sensed the shift. She felt the sting of being left out of the conversation entirely. Her silence didn’t fool Paresh, her husband. He gently reminded her of the truth she had buried: she had always chosen Tejas over Sachin. And that favoritism had left scars.
Paresh urged her to finally give Sachin the love he had always yearned for—the love she’d withheld when he needed her most. Sachin had never stopped caring about her. He just got tired of pretending it didn’t hurt.
That night, under a blanket of stars, Sachin and Sayali lay on the rooftop. In the stillness, Sayali asked the question that had been lingering in her heart: Why do you act like you don’t love her?
Sachin turned to her, eyes moist with emotion, and for once, he didn’t hide.
